In this hands-on workshop we will walk you through deploying a .NET Core application to modern Azure App services (Platform-as-a-Service). Our workshop will include a demo of how to build the necessary infrastructure components in Azure as well as how to deploy a sample .NET Core App “Hello World”.

In the last two years we have learned a lot about the different services that the Azure Cloud offers as well as the cost and time that it takes to start leveraging those services.

Throughout our presentation we will walk you through some of the cost management, budget monitoring, and alerting techniques that we have used to manage costs and time within our team. At this workshop, we will also share informal information such as lessons learned from deploying to Azure App Services, including advantages, disadvantages, and campus resources.
