Enterprise Service Management at Illinois: Progress. Purpose. What’s Next.

Tags: , ,

The Enterprise Service Management Office (ESMO) was created to support a more strategic, consistent, and user-focused approach to service delivery on the Illinois campus. In this session, we’ll provide an overview of what ESMO is, what we’ve been working on over the past year, and where we’re headed next. We’ll highlight key initiatives such as the development of the Enterprise Service Catalog, collaboration with campus units to define and improve service processes, and efforts to bring greater transparency, alignment, and efficiency to the way IT services are delivered.

As campus needs evolve and the complexity of services grows, ESMO plays a critical role in ensuring we have the right structures in place to manage, measure, and continuously improve the services that support teaching, research, and operations. This presentation will explore how ESMO contributes to a more unified campus IT strategy, why this work matters now more than ever, and how you can engage with us going forward.

Whether you’re curious about how ESMO can support your unit or just want to better understand the evolving service landscape at Illinois, we invite you to join us for this conversation.
