The Evolution of Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is a necessary part of authentication at the university every day. The IAM team at Urbana will review our progress with MFA adoption, recent changes to MFA, and a roadmap looking to the future plans of MFA. We will discuss plans to improve factor security, support for newer technologies as well as a distributed strategy to migrate away from Cisco-Duo MFA to the Microsoft MFA platform.
