Keynote Speaker – IT: A Platform for Agility

Tags:
For a few years now our industry (IT) has been debating the value and merits of being more agile while our customers demand stability and predictability for the IT products and services we create and offer. The sheer nature of being agile – having the ability to rapidly respond to change – demands a different set of core competencies and out-of-box approaches that often collide with the idea of stability and predictability. It is that contradiction that creates an opportunity for IT Super Heroes to come out of their shells and save the day. In this keynote address, I will walk through the questions I would encourage you to answer about yourself – what are your natural abilities, what drives you, what inspires you, what is your intellectual strength, and what are your key technical and business core competencies – to identify your special powers and define which type of a Super Hero you are. I will also provoke you into thinking about how can an IT Super Hero today continue to be seen as a Super Hero in the future by taking the time to develop and nurture strategic partnerships with the academic and business side of the house.
