Cindy McKendall is the Lead Cybersecurity Training Specialist at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She brings over 20 years of experience in higher education staff training to the world of cybersecurity training and awareness. She holds certifications as a SANS Security Awareness Professional (SSAP) and Information Accessibility Design and Policy (IADP) and has presented at IT Pro Forum, University of Minnesota’s Global Accessibility Awareness Day, EDUCAUSE Cybersecurity and Privacy Professionals Conference, and the SANS Security Awareness Summit.
